- born in singapore but brought up in johor bahru since a year old. mum a singaporean while dad a muarian. schoolled in sultan ibrahim primary n secondary, situated at jalan abdul rahman andak n jalan bendahara respectively. further studies in language institute, kay el. later continued t degree in university pertanian malaysia. very active in t guiding movement since primary school, girl guide associatioan malaysia. from being a member..then t asst patrol leader..to patrol leader...to company leader...to head of girl guide cadet in teachers college...to a guider in schools...to a president in upm. now a trainer/ comissioner. m a malay language teacher by profession, also a munsyi dewan- sort of penceramah for DBP. a trainer(JU -jurulatih utama) for t co-curricular activities bahagian sekolah, KPM. m t senior asst of co-curricular in a premier school now.

ya been 2 kota kinabalu n sandakan. i even climbed up mount kinabalu in 2004, reached t top - c my photo with my 2 daughters. we visited t guide headquarters in sandakan. quite a big one n visited the orang utan sanctuary b4 heading to mount kinabalu.

ReplyDeleteagain t kinabalu xpedition was organized by PPPM (Girl Guide Association M'sia) n t Rakan Muda, Kem Belia & Sukan. that was one of the activities organized by t Majlis Pandu Puteri Renjer Kebangsaan. In 2005 we organized t xpedisi berakit sg pahang. i was involved too.
ReplyDeletewe guides always say that ONCE A GUIDE ALWAYS A GUIDE..yeah, guiding is into me so much that i think my husband is getting bored of me coz i always leave him for my guiding activities n meetings..n now he's left me home (padan muka)n work in selangor.

ReplyDeleteanyway, i was elected as t secretary of PPPM at t last AGM in Terengganu @May/June 2009.

ReplyDeleteYes...m now residing in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, S'gor. Was accepted as Penolong Pengarah wif t Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia after undergoing a short test n interview. Started working on 16/10/09 at t 3rd floor, Sektor Dasar, Unit PIPP, Parcel E8, Putrajaya. i'll b wif t guide movement again at HQ, Wisma Pandu Puteri, Lembah Pantai.
ReplyDeleteJust rendered my service 2day as t MC of t Majlis Sambutan Hari Warga Emas, PPPM n many more activities to come. Soon will b rendering my service again as MC on t 7/11/2009 for another function, welcoming Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor (PM's wife) as YDP of PPPM.
today is t 31st of January 2010...how time flies, a month have passed. me, my hubby, liyana n hani r in jb. 2row, 1st february is a public holiday 4 KLrians n Putrajayarians (Wilayah day) so took t opportunity 2 go back to jb...to check on our house, to visit mum, wak n siblings if god willing. Spent most of t time makan n makan,missed jb food, u just can't get it in Putra Heights. I even bought onions, ikan bilis, potatoes etc2 at t Perling wet market. t quality of those things in Putra Heights r not to my standard! *ahem2, mesti nak yg best d bermutu dgn harga yg murah...ahaks* That's t thing.
ReplyDeleteso what we did was ~ we had tomyam right after we reached JB. we head straight to danga bay n reached home at 2am. t next day was bfast at hutan bandar ~ we had lontong kering wif all sorts (plenty to choose from) n we chose fried chicken, hati lembu n paru goreng, my hubby go for soto ayam. we also had kuih apam, telur pindang n kuih lopis (i almost 4got t name~ tulah byk sgt makan!) not forgetting later on in t afternoon we went to wisma persekutuan for ice kacang. my tummy was already full n bloated but still i ordered rojak char kuay....sedapppp...that nite i told myself that i won't take dinner. hmmm...instead i had sup daging at srikandi ( our usual stall whenever we do want to eat out, situated near our house.
n 2day, roti canai 4 bfast, nasi lemak 4 lunch + goreng pisang + cendol + keropok lekor. 4 dinner will b going out to tepian lido (straits view hotel) 4 martabak best punyerrr! will aslo tapau (keep in t freeze n can b eaten later - take home to PH...so that's abt going back to jb. If this is t case everytime i go back jb, then....i think u know what ehh....
sorry...my 31/1/2010 post was nothing abt guiding...
